Chris has joined Volunteer Fairfax as the Emergency Response Manager. As the Emergency Response Manager, Chris plays a role in recruiting volunteers to the Volunteer Emergency Team (VET) and is in charge of the Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) during emergency activations. Chris comes from Fairfax County’s Department of Emergency Management and Security (DEMS) where he was a student worker under Mission Support.

Chris graduated from Coastal Carolina University with an Intelligence and National Security Studies degree. He is working on his Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Clemson University. He also currently serves in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

Some of Chris’ hobbies include traveling, hiking, and going to sporting events.
