Your Guide to Holiday Volunteering

The Holiday Season gives us even more reason to be generous and help others in the community.  Volunteer Fairfax offers suggestions for how you can care for your community with our Annual Holiday Volunteering Guide. Filled with timely suggestions, the Holiday Volunteering Guide will get you started with some creative suggestions for holiday volunteering and giving.

You can also find holiday volunteering opportunities in our VolunteerNow database, visit the Holiday Guide under Volunteer Fairfax programs.  You will need to login to your VolunteerNow profile to sign up once you’ve identified a good fit.  If you have not yet created a profile, click here!

For Partners who want to submit a Holiday Opportunity

All nonprofits and public agencies are invited to list their Holiday Volunteer Opportunities with us. Opportunities and donations can range from food drives to a wish list item like a new printer, to a volunteer to plan a holiday party, etc.  We also invite you to include service opportunities through the remainder of the season, through Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
