VolunteerFest 2024

VolunteerFest 2024 had over 500 community members gathered at The PARC at Tysons on Friday, November 1, for a day filled with service, a vibrant Community Fair, and loads of FUN!

A big THANK YOU to our corporate sponsors, nonprofit and agency partners, and amazing volunteers.
TOGETHER, we achieved incredible things:

  • Fairfax County DEMS packed 1,200 STEP emergency response kits with volunteers’ help.
  • Pozez JCC collected 220 pounds of food for local food pantries.
  • Volunteers packed 200 snack bags for Educate Fairfax to deliver to two local high schools.
  • Around 35 volunteers helped clean up the Tysons Forest.
  • Volunteers stuffed KONG toys for the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, and one lucky puppy found his forever home!
  • Volunteers assembled 100 hygiene kits for New Hope Housing.
  • Volunteers created 60 gardening kits with WEBS Training Center.
  • 22 nonprofit organizations were present for volunteer recruitment at our Community Fair.
